London Political Summit Kicks Off with Pre-Summit – July 21st – Malawi Minister of Foreign Affairs Hon Mkaka amongst Other Special Guest Speakers

London Political Summit is a growing think-tank platform set to engage with Political and economic leaders. It also engages with emerging leaders of the future on the trends of governance and democratic paradigm shifts. Ultimately, it raises a fundamental communique on the summit resolutions for reference to improve governance. 

This year’s summit will take place in the month of October . First  with our pre-summit virtual meeting on July 21st, and secondly the summit/awards proper in October, marking the “Black History Month” . The theme this year is centred on, “Politics of Covid, Post-Covid and the SDG Positives”. Considering the various Covid-19 political challenges and its resultant socio-economic uncertainty both across Europe and Africa. It is now important to re-examine the role of politics in national security, human security and social development. The summit would look at the emerging trends of health and social inequalities among  women, children and the gender divide in modern society.  

Following the ongoing debates around the world, about the Covid-19 new normal and its implications on assuring the sustainability of the key elements of the developmental goals by 2030. We are greatly honoured to have as our Guest Speakers for the Pre-Summit virtual meeting, preparing the space for the main summit, the Hon Minister for Women Affairs and Social Development Nigeria, Hon Dr Pauline Tallen; the Hon Minister for Foreign Affairs Malawi, Hon. Eisenhower Mkaka, Hon Paul Bristow MP, and Hon Chrissie KK Kanyasho, Hon Deputy Minister for Health, Malawi.

The London Summit has always received great speakers, from the US, Europe, UK, and Africa, both political and public office holders, young politicians, students, academics, and business leaders in attendance at the summits. Our previous Keynote speakers include, HE Former Prime Minister of Kenya Raila Odinga was our first year summit Keynote Speaker, while Ambassador Dr Josephine Ojiambo was the Guest Keynote Speaker at the second edition,  the third edition of the Summit was addressed by the Speaker of Ugandan parliament Hon. Dr. Rebecca Kadaga MP, and the 2019 summit was addressed by Hon Helen Grant MP.
