The Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Victor Richard Evivna, has officially received his Certificate of Return at the party’s National Headquarters in Abuja.
The presentation ceremony, which brought together governorship candidates from various states across the federation, was conducted by the national leadership of the PDP as part of preparations for the forthcoming general elections.
Speaking shortly after receiving the certificate, Evivna expressed gratitude to God, the leadership of the PDP, delegates, and supporters across Rivers State for the confidence reposed in him. He described the Certificate of Return as a confirmation of the mandate freely given to him by party members during the primary election.
The PDP governorship candidate reaffirmed his commitment to providing purposeful leadership, promoting sustainable development, and advancing the welfare of the people of Rivers State. He pledged to work tirelessly to unite party members and mobilize support towards securing victory for the PDP at the polls.
According to him, the certificate symbolizes not only his emergence as the party’s flagbearer but also a renewed responsibility to serve the people with dedication, integrity, and accountability.
