The London Political Summit & Awards (LPSA) proudly announces the forthcoming celebration of its 10th Anniversary Summit and Awards, scheduled to take place from 15th to 17th October 2025, across prestigious venues in the City of London, including the UK House of Commons and the London Borough of Islington Town Hall.
Since its inception in 2015, the Summit has evolved into one of the most respected international platforms for dialogue on governance, leadership, diplomacy, and democratic peace across Africa, the Commonwealth, and the global political community.
Founded by Mazi Godson Azu, following his postgraduate studies at London Metropolitan University, the Summit held its inaugural edition in 2016 with the support of the London Borough of Islington and London Metropolitan University. Over the years, it has hosted an array of world leaders, parliamentarians, governors, ambassadors, mayors, and civic influencers—building an enduring legacy of political discourse, development dialogue, and institutional collaboration.
A Historic 10th Anniversary Celebration
The 2025 10th Anniversary Edition will convene global leaders, policymakers, business executives, and civil society advocates to celebrate a decade of leadership excellence and democratic progress.
This year’s Keynote Speakers include:
• His Excellency Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka,
Former Vice President, Republic of Kenya,
delivering a keynote address on “Democratic Sustainability and Africa’s Future Leadership.”
• His Excellency Dr. Nasir Idris,
Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Federal Republic of Nigeria,
serving as Special Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker, presenting insights on “Regional Development, Governance, and Socio-Economic Transformation in Africa.”

Honouring Legacy through Awards of Excellence
The LPSA Awards recognise distinguished individuals and institutions that have made exceptional contributions to good governance, peacebuilding, inclusion, and social development.

Over the past decade, the London Political Summit has hosted prominent figures such as:

Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, Former Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda;
