the passing of Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Kenya.
Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga was a towering figure in African politics and a steadfast champion of democracy,
justice, and good governance. His lifelong commitment to political reform and his tireless struggle for
freedom, equality, and inclusion have left an indelible mark on the history of Kenya and the African

The London Political Summit and Awards was honoured to have celebrated and recognised Rt. Hon. Raila
Odinga’s contribution to peace and democracy over the years. His legacy will forever remain an inspiration
to leaders, reformers, and citizens who strive to build societies founded on justice, equity, and mutual
respect.
To Mama Ida Odinga, the Odinga family, the Government and People of Kenya, and all who mourn this
