
In an event to mark Black History Month under the auspices of London Political Summit held at the Westminster’s Parliament in its House of Commons section, High Chief Government Oweizidei Ekpemupolo a.k.a Tompolo GOC bags Man of the year award on security cum peace on oil and gas in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria.
This award is bestowed on occasion of Tompolo’s laudable achievement in the protection of critical national oil and gas assets and infrastructures in the Niger Delta Region including providing security in same vein.
Global security analyst has arrested to the large contributions of Tompolo in the oil and gas industry since the decision of the Federal Government to reignite the Federal Government/NNPCL Pipelines Surveillance and Security in order to curtail increasing loss of barrels of crude oil per day resulting in substantial loss of oil revenue accruing to the Federal Government of Nigeria.

In addition, the needed stability in the Niger Delta which is the economic backbone of the Nigerian State which Tompolo is immensely contributing to further subsumed weight to this recognition of service to global economy as such to humanity.
This award is received on his behalf by Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri the President of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC,) Worldwide, a very reverted youth organization on the continent of Africa. The services of Tompolo has built renewed courage in the global community to rethink their investments withdrawal policy in Nigeria.
